Terms and Conditions

  1. General
    1.1 These terms and conditions apply to all attendees of the Flourishing Learners Conference, hosted by Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) on 8-9 September 2025.
    1.2 By purchasing a ticket, attendees agree to these terms and conditions.

  2. Ticketing and payment
    2.1 GST, transactional fees and card fees are additional charges not included in the ticket price. These fees are non-refundable.
    2.2 All fees are payable in full at the time of registration via the event registration portal by card or via an offline invoice sent post registration to your registered email address and is to be paid within 7 days of invoice date.

  3. Cancellations and refund policy
    3.1 All cancellations must be made in writing to MACS Conference support team macsconferencesupport@seamlessevents.com.au
    3.2 Refunds will be processed as follows:
    - Cancellations received on or before 7 August 2025: 100% refund of the ticket price less taxes and fees.
    - Cancellations received on or after 8 August 2025: no refund is applicable.
    3.3 GST, transactional fees and card fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
    3.4 No-shows will not receive any refund.

  4. Substitutions and transfers
    4.1     A registered attendee may transfer their ticket to another person from the same organisation at no additional cost.

  5. Code of conduct
    5.1 Attendees must conduct themselves professionally and respectfully at all times.
    5.2 Unauthorised photography, recording or distribution of the event content is prohibited.

  6. Force majeure
    6.1     In the event of force majeure, the organisers reserve the right to cancel, reschedule, modify, or move the event to a virtual format without any liability for refunds, costs, or damages. Attendees will be notified of any changes as soon as possible.

  7. Liability
    7.1     The organisers are not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the event.
    7.2 Attendees are responsible for their own travel arrangements.

  8. Changes to the terms and conditions
    8.1 The organisers reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Attendees will be notified of significant changes.
